Run For Home is the spiritual successor of the popular Kitchisippi Run, which routinely attracted 250 participants and spectators annually. Runners, walkers, bikers, and movers came from across the Ottawa Valley and beyond to attend, and plenty of community attention was directed at the event. We anticipate a similar turnout for Run For Home, and excitement for this event is already quite high.
All sponsorship dollars will go towards the $2.5M Closer To Home campaign to build a 96-bed long-term care home at the Deep River & District Hospital. This new home, tentatively called the Four Seasons Lodge, will provide a significant reduction in the long-term care waitlist. The home will also employ 200 people with roughly $5M in annual wages going into the community. This project will transform healthcare in North Renfrew!
