Automated CPR Machine Arrives at DRDH
This month, the Black Bears Charity presented the foundation with a cheque for $30K to purchase a new, fully automated CPR machine which is now available at Deep River & District Health.
The Lucas portable CPR machine delivers consistent, high-quality chest compressions, helping first responders and medical teams save lives during cardiac emergencies. It reduces fatigue, allows hands-free operation for other critical care, and ensures uninterrupted CPR even during
transport.
This week, members of the DRDH team received training on the Lucas in our Emergency Department and Medical Inpatient Unit.
