Rules and Regulations of the Dip To Donate Polar Plunge

  • Online registrants must read and agree to this Waiverand understand that agreeing to it at registration acts as a digital signature
  • In-person registrations will have to sign waiver upon arrival - those under 18 must have parent/guardian signature
  • Dippers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present during the dip
  • All dippers must have footwear on at time of dip - water shoes, or an old pair of sneakers is fine
  • It is recommended dippers cover their head with a warm hat and not dunk the head
  • Please refrain from consuming alcohol prior to the dip
  • A lifeguard will be onsite during the dip

Suggestions and Warnings

  • Anyone with previously existing heart, blood pressure, or breathing issues should not partake in the dip
  • We strongly recommend you consult with your family physician before doing a polar dip
  • Extreme temperature changes can be hard on the body, please be aware of your own limits and do not dip if you are concerned, even if you have registered.
