Black Bears Hockey Tournament Scores Support for DRDH

The Deep River & District Health Foundation is celebrating a generous donation of $28,500 from the 19th Annual Black Bears Charity Hockey Tournament.

This donation has funded the purchase of three, much-needed, portable telemetry units for Deep River & District Health which arrived today. This equipment is used to continuously monitor a patient's vital signs, wirelessly transmiting the data to a central nursing station in real-time, while allowing the patient to move around freely.

We are incredibly grateful to the Black Bears for their continued support. This donation demonstrates how community fundraising can have a direct and positive impact on the healthcare services in our community.
